Meet Drew + Sarah
Drew, originally from Pensacola, FL, moved to the Lonestar State in middle school. He received his undergrad and master's degrees from UNT. He practiced as a counselor for multiple years before transitioning into sales and leadership in the technology sector. He now works remotely for Wesco, a distributor of electrical infrastructure. He is a consultant in the data center and energy space. He is also pursuing multiple other tandem entrepreneurial ventures. He enjoys golf, reading, sports psychology, football, and music. He is a serious coffee snob!
Sarah is an Oklahoma girl who loves change, nature, and adventure… A perfect combination for life on the road! She graduated from Texas Woman’s University with a biology & chemistry degree. She then pursued a master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies. She has practiced as a PA-C locally in both family practice and pediatrics over the last 14 years. She took a break from her pediatric office for this epic year of traveling. She loves outdoors & hiking, photography, watching her kids do the things that bring them joy, friends + family, and planning their next big family adventures.
Sarah & Drew got married in 2008 and their home base is in Argyle, Texas.
Meet Hawkins
Hawkins is a fun-loving 12-year-old and in 6th grade. He is our deep thinker, always curious and full of questions, with a love for learning and a heart of gold. Hawk brings so much wisdom and kindness to our family. He shares most of the same passions as his parents. He plays golf with PGA Jr league in Argyle when not traveling. He loves hanging out with friends, traveling, riding his electric bike, and playing outside. Of course like any kid, he loves video games and all things electronics. He wants to be either a professional golfer, biomedical engineer, focusing on robots that could help improve hydrocephalus-related surgeries or a marine biologist. He would love to live in a sprinter van while in college and see the world between his studies. He is most excited about visiting Washington DC.
Meet Emmie
Emmie is a super smart, sweet, and spirited 7-year-old. She is in 1st grade while travelschooling. She is our ray of sunshine, with boundless energy, creativity, and a laugh that can light up any room. She reminds us to find joy in every moment. She literally would like to try any and all activities, from football to cheerleading and jujitsu and piano. Like her mom, she is an adventure seeker. Emmie loves learning and reading. She loves her family and friends fiercely. When she grows up, she wants to be a mounted police officer, pediatrician, and a mom. She is most excited to learn new languages and cultures while on the road.
Meet Foster
Foster is an energetic, silly, and sweet 7-year-old. He is also doing 1st grade this school year. ‘Foz’ is our wild adventurer, full of spirit, determination, and a sense of wonder. He keeps us on our toes and teaches us the beauty of seeing the world through fresh eyes. He loves playing outside, especially if there are rocks or sand involved, is a budding artist with a genuine love for coloring, and enjoys learning piano. Like his brother, he would love an endless amount of electronic time. He is an animal lover, and if there is a dog nearby, he is likely loving on it! When he grows up, he would like to be “like God or a good angel” but really is still pondering his career. He is most excited to just be able to run free in the outdoors, wherever that may be!
