Meet Us

We are ON the road! In July 2024, the Null family embarked on a year-long RV adventure, answering a calling we feel deeply from God. From majestic mountains to peaceful lakesides and bustling cities, this journey is about more than exploring the beauty of His creation—it's about sharing God’s love with everyone we meet.

Our children, Hawkins (11), and twins Emmie and Foster (7), will continue their education on the road through a mix of homeschooling and online programs for 1st and 6th grades. They'll also pursue their passions for sports and music while gaining firsthand experiences with new languages, cultures, and communities. Along the way, we’re committed to serving underserved populations and making a positive impact wherever we go.

Drew will keep working remotely, while Sarah has stepped away from her pediatric practice in Flower Mound for the year to focus on travelschooling and guiding the kids in this unique chapter of life. Together, we look forward to a year of adventure, discovery, spiritual growth, and meaningful connections. Here's to the road ahead!

Our 3-week road trip in the summer of 2023 through Utah, Arizona, and New Mexico was not only a memorable experience but also a pivotal moment for our family. The stunning landscapes and natural beauty of these states have a way of deepening one’s appreciation for the outdoors and sparking a desire for further exploration. These life events helped shape the course of our upcoming travels, leading us to the decision to embrace full-time RV living. This path we are embarking on is a beautiful blend of adventure, faith, and family, and it’s clear that we’re moving forward with a deep sense of purpose and anticipation for what lies ahead. Here’s to following the paths that bring fulfillment and joy, guided by our faith and the wonders of nature we continue to explore!

How It Started

  • Thank goodness for modern electronics and connectivity. We have a pretty detailed plan to maintain connectivity, even in the vastness of the mountains and the commonly low service areas. We will certainly take advantage of FaceTime, messenger, emails, and calls.

  • Roadschooling is an inspiring way to break down the traditional walls of a classroom, blending the thrill of travel with meaningful educational experiences. By turning the world into a living classroom, we create opportunities for our children to engage with geography, history, science, and culture in ways no textbook could replicate.

Our twins, Emmie and Foster, will dive into a robust curriculum from The Good and the Beautiful, a Christian homeschool program that integrates faith and academics. They’ll explore subjects like Language Arts, Math, Science, History, and electives, all designed to foster critical thinking, creativity, and a love of learning. This curriculum not only meets academic standards but also weaves character development and values into each lesson, making it an ideal fit for our family.

Hawkins, our 11-year-old, will take his education to the next level with Liberty University Online Academy, an accredited private Christian school that offers a flexible and comprehensive program. Through its Christ-centered approach, Hawkins will build a solid foundation in core subjects while also nurturing his faith.

Beyond the structured curriculum, roadschooling provides endless hands-on learning opportunities. From exploring the geology of national parks to studying history in places where it happened, we’re excited to see our children thrive academically while immersing themselves in God’s creation. This journey is more than an adventure—it’s an investment in their education, faith, and character.

  • Truly, God made this happen! God closed one door which opened up bigger opportunities! He has tested our reliance on Him and our patience during this process. We are thankful for job opportunities that helped set us up financially to pull this off. Drew will continue to work remotely, and we are grateful for his provision for our family.
